It makes this table resists scratches and abrasion. ZERO ABSORPTION Sintered Stone is a non-porous material. Liquid resistance absorption level near zero. HEAT RESISTANT The sintering process to make sintered stone tabletop requires raw materials to be compacted under huge pressure of up to 400 bars (5800 PSI) and baked at a temperature of 1200ÂșC. So this sintered stone tabletop does not burn in contact with fire or let off smoke/toxic substances. FOOD SAFE Sintered Stone is made entirely from nature, and it is resin-free.
